The most distinctive feature of this shirt is the striking pixelated, geometric pattern in shades of light blue and navy that covers the shoulders and chest just above the sponsor.
The years 1992-1994 were a time of great transformation and of building a new Napoli identity right after Diego Maradona's turbulent departure. In this shirt the young, brilliant Gianfranco Zola dazzled on Serie A pitches (in the 92/93 season, before he left for Parma), along with Uruguayan striker Daniel Fonseca and famous Swedish midfielder Jonas Thern.
