Southampton 2007/09 Third Football Shirt In-House Marek Saganowski #4 [M]

A rare third kit - interestingly, in those years the club did not work with any major global kit supplier, and the kit was made under the club's own "Saints" brand, which makes this shirt very hard to find today and a unique trophy for collectors.
It was an extremely difficult year for "The Saints". For financial reasons the club had to sell its biggest young talents, including Gareth Bale (who left for Tottenham). Southampton fought to stay up until the final matchday, eventually finishing 20th and staying in the Championship just 2 points above the relegation zone.
With the name of Marek Saganowski, a Polish striker and former ŁKS Łódź and Legia Warsaw player among others, on the back.
Generally very good condition, unfortunately the letters F and M are missing from the front sponsor (flybe.com).
