An iconic old-school model made by Adidas.
One of the most polarising, and today most sought-after, designs in the history of the St James' Park club. Although its unusual colour choice caused quite a controversy at launch, it became a permanent part of the 90s football fashion canon and is associated with historic Champions League nights.
The team's biggest star was Alan Shearer (although he missed half the season with a serious ankle injury). Faustino Asprilla (scorer of the famous hat-trick against Barcelona), Jon Dahl Tomasson, Rob Lee, David Batty and John Barnes also shone in this shirt.
The shirt also got a modern version, as in the 2024/25 season it inspired the shirt used as the third kit.
Very good condition.
