One of the most unique and sought-after designs in the club's history, mainly due to its unusual colour combination and bold graphics.
The base of the shirt is an intense light blue, but the fabric was not uniform. It used a special jacquard structure that gave a unique cloud effect under the stadium floodlights. The light blue colour was no accident. It was a direct reference to the Newcastle city coat of arms and the iconic Blue Star.
Although the shirt was used for two full seasons (1993/94 and 1994/95), Newcastle United played only 9 official matches in it.
A real treat for collectors.
