A rare and exceptionally successful third kit.
The biggest visual revolution is the complete abandonment of the traditional club crest in favour of a minimalist image of the Devil alone. In addition, instead of the standard Adidas logo, the iconic Adidas Trefoil - until then reserved exclusively for the Originals lifestyle collection - appeared on the chest for the first time in decades. The centrepiece is the logo of the new sponsor - Snapdragon.
The distinctive red, white and black band across the chest is a direct tribute to the flags and banners of the fans that have decorated the Stretford End for decades. The design also references the iconic away shirt from the 1997/98 season.
