One of the most iconic and symbolic goalkeeper shirt designs of the 21st century.
In the summer of 2021, after 20 years apart, Gianluigi Buffon, whose name is on the back of the shirt, made the romantic decision to return to Parma (despite the club playing in Serie B). To celebrate the return of its academy graduate, the club and Erreà created a replica and direct tribute to the kit in which Buffon rose to the top of the world.
The design of the 2021/22 shirt was directly inspired by Parma's goalkeeper top from the 1998/99 season. It was in that memorable year that a young "Gigi" Buffon lifted his first major career trophies with Parma - the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Cup.
There is also a league emblem on the sleeve.
